3 days unsettled and neg hpt from Dollar Tree?
I am 3 days late and just got crushed by a cynical pt. It was a dollar tree brand one so I am hoping it was wrong! I was cramping and am not anymore and I am still bloated and I feel nauseous a little last hours of darkness. Could I still be pregnant? Has any of you found the dollar tree brand and it be wrong?
If you go to peeonastick.com (or org) they have a woman that used many brands of hpt's and showed pics of the results. The dollar tree altered copy has the same sensitivity as some of the pricey brands. You must look at the sensitivity on the back, the minor the number the more sensitive it is.
Personally, I would wait a few days and retest, or get a blood test from the doc.

I in reality got my Positive with that brand. I say its still too untimely to find out if you are pregnant. I would recommend to wait till the end of the month if still you have not gotten your interval then test again. I tested before the month be over with a good brand test and it be negative so I waited to the end of the month to examination and thats when it came out Positive. Be patient eventually you will find out. I always keep on and if you don't get it for a whole month then likelihood are stronger that you are!

Another possibility is that you ovulated late. If you ovulate postponed, your cycle will be longer and your period will come a little later. Ovulation determines down your cycle and determines the day your period is going to come. So if you did ovulate late, it doesn't show you are not pregnant, but it does mean that it may take a little longer to bring back a +hpt.

The only complaint I hear is that the lines are fainter than a pricier brand, and if you drop to much urine on the cassette, you can wipe up away the line, making the test invalid. So when it says to use one and only 2 or 3 drops of urine, don't use more than that. I have a friend that was very pregnant, and took 2 dollar tree test, one she used more urine and it was negative, the other she used the proper amount, and it was +, she be about 11 weeks pregnant at the time.

Yes! When i got pregnant we took a first response test and it was positive...we have never known if the dollar brand ones worked so we got one. It said i was distrustful. So your best chance is try to buy a better one and for better accuracy check with your doctor. If you don't enjoy health insurance go to planned parenthood they do pregnancy test very cheap...good luck!
