Why am I not ovulating?
Hi, I am hoping that somebody can help me, I been trying to have a infant for about a year now with no luck, I own just started to use ovulating pee sticks and they have shown that I am not ovuating at all I hold followed the instructions to the word but no difference it shows the test is invalid. My cycle its roughly every 38 days and I am testing a few days before? I am still have signs that I am ovulating as in sore heavy breast. Not sure what to do next as its making me drastically down and my husband doesnt understand how much I want this and how obsessed I am becoming over it, he does want children and is ready but because I am nearly 35 I believe I dont hold much time. Please HELP
Answers: How many days before? You should start testing AT LEAST two weeks prior to your spell, but maybe you should try even earlier than that. Some women ovulate early on within their cycle. Just keep at it, I know plenty of women who have had babies at your age or subsequently and some may have had to work for it, but they all own their babies eventually! :) Want a good example? My aunt was started trying to have kids at 38ish, get pregnant and had her first at 40, then she got pregnant while bfing and have her next 1 at 42, then she had twins when she be 44! Your body is capable, trust me! :)

Try not to worry too much. I stopped ovulating for 8 months for unknown reasons, the doctors put it down to stress. I wasnt have any periods at all, then minus warning I fell pregnant, just as i had be referred for fertility treatment! for my husband and i this was a miracle. The most unexpected thing ever, we have kind of prepared ourselves to not have children and it was heartbreaking, so i completley sympathise near what you are going through.
I hope my story brings a little hope to you, I am now 31 weeks pregnant with a on form baby girl. I pray your time is going to come. I know its hard, but try to relax and what will be will be.
