What do you muse?? PCOS friends answer please!!?
So.. I have PCOS and finally had a period on my own near Metformin (twice a day 1000mg) on June 10th. I've had nothing again since. How long be your cycles with Metformin?? I'm not sure when I would be considered "late" because I'm so irregular with PCOS. I really felt approaching I ovulated around June 29th or so (I have EWCM and my cervix was SHOW). I took a preg test second friday and it was negative, but I still haven't started my period and I'm have a lot of dizziness, moodiness and sore boobs (which I realize can be same as PMS, but there is no sign of period!!). I purely hate wasting money on those stupid tests.. but I know I have to assessment again eventually. Just wanted someone else's opinon and advice. PCOS sucks!! =( Thanks!!
Answers: Yes, it does suck! I recently hold the symotms very badly. When I was younger I never have symtoms, so I never knew I had it. It was probably because I be in good shape! Anyway, for the past year I hold probably only had maybe 4 period. It's so weird going from this to always being regular, but that's PCOS for ya! Anyway, I own also been on Metformin since last October. I sort of gave up on it for a while because at first I be getting my periods, and then they stopped again. I had a length in March-ish, and then just get one last week. The weeks leading up to this period be very confusing for me because I was experiencing lots of pregnancy/PMS symtoms. I was have hot flashes, back pain, moodiness, tiredness, frequent urination, and very sore boobs...more sore than they ever own been ever! So, of course I ran out and bought a pregnancy trial because I thought I had to be! The tests were distrustful, and a few days later I finally got my period! Ah! Soooo annoying! I am not going to bring up to date you that you are NOT pregnant, and I am not going to tell you that you are. There is really no way of telling. Treat yourself as if you are...don't drink, smoke, etc because here is a chance that you can be. However, don't get your hopes up too much. I would take a pregnancy question paper in about three more days...first thing surrounded by the morning. If it is still negative by then, and you have not gotten your length call you doctor. If nothing else...wait it out. You will start eventually most credible...especially with being on that much Metformin!
