Anybody walk to a chiropractor and grasp pregnant?
My husband and I have been TTC for about 8 years. We own pretty much given up any hope. Anyway, I just recently read about a study done concerning infertility and chiropractic medication. The study stated that since hormones travel in our spinal column, there is a possibility that some infertility is due to injury or even bad posture next to the result of the hormones not reaching the reproductive system. They stated that in this study 14/15 women who had been trying for years get pregnant after going to the chiropractor. I just want to see if anyone has any real go stories about this. I am thinking about going. I hate getting my hopes up again, but I enjoy to give it a shot, right?
Answers: Definitely worth a shot, and no harm in it. I saw the study and have heard this before too. If you make sure the vertebrae is in good alignment and pressure is freed off of nerves and other structures it make sense that the body will work better. Try a few sessions. I also read that study - as well as the one where a woman had acupuncture and believed this help her conceive. You don't mention seeing a fertility specialist - is this not an option?? I'm a firm believer in Chiropractic and it couldn't hurt.
