Is this usual or could i be at risk or menace? could i be pregnant?

ive been spotting for 1 month now..its brown but i havent passed any clots or tissue. some days its pinkish. it doesnt have a foul smell or anything. this have never happened to me before. i did have unprotected sex at the start of this month and have been spotting ever since. i dont really get any cramps next to it but i have a few times but minor ones. also my breasts felt a little sore inbetween but they're fine very soon. ive gotten headaches a few times throughout the month also. i guess i missed my period but its kind of strong to tell with all this spotting, i propose i havent had a red heavy flow period this month so you can say aloud i missed it. im healthy and have only have one sex partner that ive been with 3 yrs. my periods are usually regular. IF i am pregnant, is it average to spot this much? is it possible that im miscarrying or would i have to have bright red blood with clots and bleeding cramps? cuz i havent had any of that & im pretty sure a miscarriage wouldnt last this long. the spotting is pretty light but it vary on different days. please dont tell me to get a pregnancy test or jump to a doctor because thats not what i want to hear. i DO plan on doing so sometime this week so no rude coments please.
