Could prenatal vitamins be cause my scalp problems?!?

In the past month I have been have serious scalp problems (dry crusty stuff stuck on my scalp, not flaking) I have tried EVERYTHING to get rid of it. Nothing seems to sustain and the only thing I have done differently surrounded by the past month is start taking prenatal vitamins because my husband and I are trying to conceive. Could this be the cause??
