Considering Clomid, or another medication, any guidance?
We have been TTC for going on 9 months now beside no success. I have only mentioned it to my husband once and havent talk to my doctor about it at all. I would like to instruct myself on it a little before I mention it anymore.
Should I lean toward Clomid or is there another infertility treatment I should know roughly?
What is your advice? Any success stories? How long after starting the medication did you conceive?

the first article you should do is talk to you doctor clomid is to help with ovulating and if you are ovulating and ovulating in good time then that might not be an option for you. If you have SERIOUSLY be trying for 9 months I would go in and talk to your OB if you hold been trying but not hardcore you should wait another 3 months or so because most won't say at hand is an issue until you hit a year. Are you temping? Do you use Ovulation kits? Are your periods regular? Can't really help you minus more information but I go on Twoweekwait.com and there is forums for those on clomid and many others who are trying to concieve who can grant you great advice. Good Luck!
Clomid is to help inhabitants ovulate or release mature ovum if they are not doing that on their own. Before you start considering a fertility treatment, you should see if your cycle is pretty regular. If it is, the chances are you are ovulating pretty normally. After that, your doctor may want to own your husband's sperm count checked, because if you are ovulating, he is more likely the problem. If his count is normal, then they will probably want to do some blood test on you throughout your cycle to see if you are getting enough of a surge to show ovulation...maybe an ultrasound to see your ovaries during ovulation as well. In my casing, I was having no periods at adjectives for nine months after going off the pill, so they knew it was my problem and not my hubby's. My doctor prescribed Clomid minus any of the aforementioned tests and I ovulated and got pregnant on the first round. Baby girl is now nine months today.
Answers: I have heard very righteous things about Clomid! I have a friend who tried conceiving for years... she went on Clomid 5 months ago & is in a minute 2 months pregnant! :D
My Sister was just put on Clomid because she has such irregular period! Nothing has happened yet but this is newly her first month on it!
So Like I said I have heard all positive things almost Clomid & think that it is definitly worth talking to your doctor about, when you are set! :D
