Am I in recent times infertile? Or whats going on?!?
My boyfriend and I have been TTC for about 6 months. Around 4 months ago I be late on my period. Then took multiple HPT and negatives. Then finally when to a adjoining clinic, and they gave me 2 tests, negative. Eventually, they sent me to return with a blood test, negative. And then I get a pap test and such. The nurse told me it was "normal" to skip my period for 4 months. Finally go to a regular doctor to see whats up, didn't say anything except that if its not a thyroid problem then I have to step to a gyno, which I'm going to see soon and see if I can or cannot get pregnant.. I'm so confused. Anyone have something like this start?
Answers: Yes. I was in the same situation and go to a gyno to find out that I had PCOS. The good news is, if you enjoy PCOS there are several things the doctor could do for you to help you get pregnant. I am on metformin, clomid, and steroids. You may not own PCOS and just do not ovulate. Your doctor may want you to take clomid for a while and then verbs to other fertility meds if that doesn't work. Good Luck! Ovulation occurs when a mature egg is released from the ovary, pushed down the fallopian tube, and is available to be fertilized. The lining of the uterus have thickened to prepare for a fertilized egg. If no conception occurs, the uterine lining as all right as blood will be shed. The shedding of an unfertilized egg and the uterine wall is the time of menstruation.
Have you been keeping track of your cycle via calendar? Do you know when you are ovulating? All of these questions plays a huge part contained by ttc. Furthermore, you could be lowering his sperm count if you have constant sex. Instead, try having sex every other day when you guess you are about to ovulate so that the sperm will be sitting there waiting for the egg to fertilize it.
