Why does everyone suggest first response HPT check?
I dont understand...they all say 5 days before..
Honey, I have always used Dollar Tree Store pregnancy test. I took 3 of them when I got my BFP, just to be sure. Then my husband suggested I get First Response, since they are most accurate after your missed length. It came up + within seconds so I know 1st Response is extremely important.
It tests for the hormone HCG at low level.
I got my positive (faint) with a cheapo test that I bought online stale of amazon. However, my husband wasn't sure after three tests, so he went and bought a digital that said pregnant/not pregnant (First Response Gold). It was pricey, but really less ambiguous!
That gave me a correct postive like 6 days before my time was due!! and that was when it first came out. i lvoe it
I used generic Walmart tests and still got positives. HPTs are not something you need to spend plentifully of money on.
Answers: It only shows up 5 days earlier in close to 50-60% of women. That is if the woman is sure of the day her period will start. I personally loved first response. I took it 4 days formerly my period was due and got a shaky positive. There was no fuss or guessing about the result. I'm now 23 weeks 3 days pregnant beside my 1st! Dollar store brand tests are just as sensitive as First Response for waaay less. I newly seemed to like both of those brands :)
