Im really ttc and call for a polite ovulation paraphernalia. Can someone give support to?
Answers: I have used a couple generic, answer, and clear blue. I think the best one is clear blue. It can be expensive every month. When i used the answer brand it didn't show up that i ovulated. I bought the more expensive brand and i tried them both at the same time. Generic showed i didn't ovulate and clear blue showed i did. I completed up getting pregnant that month. I used the First Response 20 day Ovulation kit which actually last for 2 cycles since it does not expire for 30 days. Unfortunately I haven't gotten preggo yet but it did indicate my surge. I would also suggest taking your BBT along with OPK testing whatever thing brand you decide to go with. Also kind sure to BD the day of your surge and at least 3 days after (insurance days)
since you can OV anywhere between 12-36hrs after the first positive.
If you can BD the day past too, even better.
The only complaint I had with the First Response interview was there are no caps for the individual sticks, which make testing at peak time (between 2p-4p) very tricky if you work a run of the mill 9-5 schedule.
I ended up using zip lock lots for weekday testing.
I hope this helps
