I own taken metformin for 2 years because of PCOS, one year was continuous, the other year was at different times with clomid and femera. Sadly I enjoy had no success with metformin and I'm on 2000mg. Metformin take time to work, so hopefully it won't take too long for you to see results. If you don't feel metformin is enough I would ask the doctor something like clomid.
