Menstruation problem after given birth?

my wife is having menstruation problem after given birth. Her menstruation came for 2 months after given birth, and then stopped almost 3 months already.no symptoms of another pregnancy too.is that a problem or something?
After giving birth you will bleed for awhile. If you are breastfeeding regularly it will be off. Example: January kid, first period end of June. then Sept, next Nov. etc. I nursed for a little over 2 years & my cycles seemed to get more regular as time go on. Some people don't get it back the total time they are nursing & others right away. In general most people I know seem to be the approach I was.
Did she have a natural birth or c-section?
I had a c-section 4 fours ago, and my cycle have never been the same. (sorry for the TMI coming) I had a pouring, painful, non-stop (5 day)cycle. Now, however, I run for 3 days, stop for one day, then start again for another 2. My Dr. said that this is ordinary. He said that most women go through a change in their cycles after have a baby.
But if you and/or your wife is getting really worried about this, she should see her Dr.
Answers:    It takes the body some time to get back to everyday after giving birth. Is she breast feeding? That can throw off your cycle, too.

It would be best that she see her doctor for a check up just to be sure.

It's normal to have a irregular cycle for up to a year after labour, especially if one is nursing. No it's not a problem.
