Could the HPT hold given me a false unenthusiastic?
We are in our 8th month of TTC#3. My periods are irregular but I use an ovulation test every daytime. We haven't stopped trying but we stopped trying SO hard and having sex on only those specific days. So give or take a few 7-8 weeks ago I had a regular period. during and after my period, I ovulated, which is usual for me since I have been tracking for about 9 months. 10 days after my extent stopped, I started bleeding again. It was like a normal term but it lasted 12 days! Totally not normal for me!
Last NORMAL period: April 20-24
Ovulation cycle: April 22-25
ABNORMAL bleeding: May 6-17
I own not had any bleeding since then. I have be testing everyday for my next ovulation cycle but every single day I draw from negative results. Even if my period switched its course, I would have gotten it by very soon. Its been more than 5 weeks and nothing. So I took a pregnancy test on Monday and I get a BFN. Im really confused here. Can anyone please give me some insight??
Your Ovulation test would have picked up the HCG if there be any. I think your cycle is just a bit messed up!
Am confused with your date honey- by this it looks like you ovulated the day your period finished?! If this is the crust then it's possible the bleeding that started up again on the 6th may was in certainty your next period- ovulation on 25th April, 11 day luteal phase, then your subsequent period.
However this would only give you a 17 morning cycle, which in itself may be abnormal, so see your doctor who may be able to prescribe clomid to relief you conceive.
Answers: They can give a false negative. But the OPKs would be picking up the hcg to if you be pregnant. LH and HCG are nearly identical. HCG has an extra chemical to it that the HPT tests for. If your HPT and or OPKs are adjectives negative than i think your not pregnant. sorry...
