Will clomid work for me?
It depends on your body but I've heard the success rate is very devout. Be prepared though to possible have twins or more. If your body hasn't ovulated in a while it could take 3 months to properly capture your organs working properly and after the 3 months you will begin to ovulate regularly. I would say between 3-6 months from taking it you will know if its working. Have them monitor/test you each month to see if you ovulating. Good luck! Oh also, if you are not have regular periods you may need provera to induce your cycle.
I took clomid twice. first dose was low..50mg, 2nd be 200mg and no luck! I am now on injectables called "Follistim". I was on it for 3 days when my dr said he saw a few follicles. he increased my dose because he needed more.

I read this has a good sucess rate and sometimes even multiples! if 50mg doesnt work they will gradually increase it, they will probably draw blood to see if you enjoy ovulated since they will see that in your hormone levels. I just read online between 40 and 80% of women who filch clomid will ovulate with it. But it doesnt gurantee conception with it. Best wishes!
