Light pink mucus? Why would this start?

Ok so this is my fertile week so the mucus is usually egg white but his month I noticed that the mucus was light pink instead of egg white...Any view why this might be happening? I also know I am not pregnant because we have not had sex since my ultimate period. My husband and I are going to start ttc next month.
Answers:    sounds like a small amount of blood mixed next to the mucus
