Is it to soon to update?
Today, my husband and I had unprotected sex, My next period is set to come within five days.
Is it to soon to miss my period? Or do I need to wait till subsequent month
To know if I am pregnant or not?
the doctors told me the best time to conceive is 14 days since your next period. i would wait and see if you miss your extent and if you get it wait and try again next month 14 days since your period is the day you ovulate. the three days before that and 2 days after you can conceive. that should confer you a 6 day window to try. i wish you the best of luck.
most likely not if your period is set to stat in 5 days you missed the ovulation time,, but next again everyone is different. wait a week and see if your late if you are take a examination. if not this month theres always next month
if your extent is coming in 5 days thats the 28th asuming you have a 28 day cycle you're imagined to be most fertile from Thursday, July 9, 2009 to Tuesday, July 14, 2009. If you were to get pregnant during that time, your due date would be Sunday, April 4, 2010.
good luck
Answers: If this was the only time you had unprotected sex after it's extremely unlikely you're pregnant. This is because the vast majority of women ovulate 10-16 days (12-14 being most common) before their subsequent period. After ovulation the egg can only survive for a max of 24 hours, after which time it dies and further ovulation and therefore conception is impossible that cycle.
For the tiny minority of women who ovulate 9 or smaller quantity days before their period starts getting pregnant will be a problem, as the luteal phase (the time from ovulation to menstruation) is too short to maintain a pregnancy. Either the term will start before the embryo has a chance to entrench, or it will implant but the short luteal phase will mean that the pregnancy hormones needed to maintain the inside layer and prevent menstruation will not have time to build up and the pregnancy will be lost.
That said, no, you will not get pregnant 5 days before your time is due.
