Anyone next to nouns stories of getting pregnant on Clomid?
My husband and I are trying to get pregnant after 2 miscarriages. So i went to see my doctor who prescribed me a 12 day cycle of Progesterone and after a 5 day cycle of Clomid. I already finished my Progesterone and have started my Clomid yesterday (days 3-7). My doctor advised that I should ovulate 10 days after finishing my Clomid cycle and hopefully we will conceive. I newly want to know if anyone else has taken both Progesterone and Clomid or just one and gotten pregnant? Just want to hear some success stories to dispense my husband and I some hope. Thanks
Answers: Well, I was not on progesterone, but I did have success next to Clomid. My husband and I had tried to conceive naturally for a few years with no luck. There be nothing "wrong" with either of us. It only just didn't happen.
I was put on Clomid in October '08. I took 50mg for the first four cycles and 100mg on the fifth. That end cycle "took" and I'm now 23 weeks pregnant with a baby girl -- our first child.
I did also track by bbt and use the OPK test to pinpoint my ovulation days. If you're not doing that yet you might want to start. :)
