Any position can work, but most people say that the deeper the permeation, the better. Ex: man on top, woman with lifted hips. Woman on top is most likely smaller amount effective. Also, many people suggest lying on your subsidise for 1/2 or so after intercourse.

Here is what worked for us and was what all infertility specialists told us would work best since we were have difficuly conceiving. The woman should be lying down with the hips tilted up at an angle. But, almost any position where the woman's vagina is tilted higher than the cervix will work. Also, when the man ejaculate, they should try to do so when the penis is fully inside the vagina. After ejaculation, keep the vagina raised above the cervix for about 20-30 minutes so the sperm does not ooze out. Some specialists even told us to stand on our head after intercourse. The little tiny sperm have to swim for what is for them a long way going through the vagina, through the cervix, and into the uterous. For most "normal" citizens, it is not unusual for it to take a few months to get pregnant. As you reach 12 months and no luck, it's time to start discussion to an infertility specialist.

any position works, but ive read doggy style and missionary are the best to help the sperm get closer to the cervix.
man on top and doggy style is what i have read..and the women to have her hips up or lower than a pillow for a while.
