With so oodles forms of contraception, how do so several citizens who in a relaxed way hold sex become pregnant?

I mean there are condoms and birth control. Do these things not work as well as they say-so, or do people just choose not to use them hoping "the pullout method" works?
Some people are stupid and guess they can stop before or let their hormones get away beside them and can't be bothered to stop and think.
I work with teens and it seems that this year the pregnancy rate be up. lack of education, hormones, not being instilled next to the proper morals. And Yes some girls will lie because they just want someone to love them ie, a baby.
Yes, there are some people who use the pull out method or freshly hope for the best, but most birth control methods are not 100% effective, even when used correctly every time. Take human error into consideration and they are even less effective.

The pill for example is in the region of 99% effective when taken exactly as prescribed. So that still means 1 in every 100 women using the pill will gain pregnant. Throw in skipped pills, antibiotics being taken, and other factors and frequent more can get pregnant. I think the estimate is with human error nearly 85% effective. Source(s): Diagnosed infertile, placed on birth control pills to regulate periods. Six years later give birth to my miracle baby who was conceived while on the pill.
Rule of thumb: in their most basic form, people are stupid.
There are many forms of contraception but not ONE i.e. 100% effective and foolproof and doesn't have a margin of human error.

So there's your answer.

And race (doctors) say, "Well there will be a form of contraception that's just right for YOU."

But what happen while you're finding out which one works for you? Uh, you're on contraception that ISN'T right for you! Source(s): I got pregnant on the pill, obviously NOT the right one for me!
believe it or not it's not that easy to acquire pregnant.
sometimes a guy can be too big and miss the cervix hole.
some are too small and the sperm die too fast
woman who ovulate cant get pregnant until the egg goes to the uterus.
and sometimes condoms can rip and u own to do birth control everyday.
my friend got preg out of all the days she didn't take the pill those 30 days surrounded by the month.
those contraceptives can have side effects
so most ppl dont think it's worth it.
and if anything there's Plan B over the counter drug.
There are various reasons. The most common ones that I see are: they weren't educated (I see abundantly of girls on here ask basic questions about contraceptives and are surprised to swot up of a little thing called Plan B) or they muse they're invincible.
People enjoy sex in the heat of the moment, unprotected. That's it, no big mystery.
People or usually drunk when they have casual sex, so they may forget to use contraception, or they might forget they have sex.
they are not 100% effective
Compare that to the number of times people have sex where they DON'T become pregnant while using birth control and you'll see that's it''s statistically insignificant.
Many people having sex are a) drunk or in an otherwise "who care - let's just do it" mood, or b) irresponsible or just plain careless. Small wonder that so tons unsought pregnancies result :---).
they dont use them. usually. I've been near my boyfriend for 5 years and ive never even had a "scare". there should be no reason for an unintended pregnancy if your smart.
i'm not sure of this answer but i do find it disturbing how people that don't want or "shouldn't" get pregnant do & the people who want it so doomed to failure & try for so long can't for the life of them conceive.
they still think the verbs out method works.
I got pregnant while I was on the pill.
**** happen.
Answers:    I think it boils down to sheer apathy. People get caught up in the moment. They don't want to give somebody a lift a 30 second timeout to put on a condom in order to save themselves 18 years of trouble latter. Sad, but true.
they don't use them
