Week 16 and the tot died? please give support to me?
The only change I did 3 days ago was taking DHA and EPA fish grease capsules especially for maternity.
The baby is according tot he US surrounded by size of week 12 and 13. I am week 16 and just 2 days ago there was no hear throb.
Can it be that I killed him because of the fish oil?
Has anyone heard around it before?

Dont blame yourself, same thing happend to me, but i was 13 weeks, and the infant died at 9 weeks, and it wasnt my fault directly. i had partial molar and it was a freak twist of fate when multiple sperm penitrated the egg, so it was nature just going its course

I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure that the capsule is not what hurt the baby. I have not heard of anything approaching that before. It sounds as though the baby stopped growing a few weeks ago which would mean that the problem took place earlier you took the fish oil. When we become mommy's even if it is only for a short time I contemplate we are suddenly equipped with what I like to call the "mommy guilt." You other wonder if something bad happens to your child if it's your fault. I assure you it didn't own anything to do with that. I would talk to your OBGYN though and find out if they might have an hypothesis of what might have happened. It might ease your mind a bit to hear it from a professional. Not hearing the heartbeat at 16 weeks is common, try not to panic.

No...The fish oil did not do it..But, I will tell you, you probably will not take it while preggo again. I took alfalfa vitamins during one of my pregnancies, and my son endedup beside some weird cranio thing..I know it's not related, but still, I cannot purloin it while preggo...It's a mental thing..I am so sorry for your loss!

No, it is DEFINITELY not the fish grease or EPA.
Besides, as you said the baby was measuring 12 week, so it passed a few weeks ago. The most adjectives problem around this week (between 10 weeks and 13 weeks) are issues around the placenta. The placenta takes over production of hormones and providing nutrition to the baby around this time. Any problem with the placenta can mete out the miscarriage. Other cause can be low progesterone - the placenta didn't took over in time to produce this hormone (but this would have cause bleeding much earlier). There are many other causes as well, but these be the two that we found that may have applied to our miscarriage at 12 weeks.

I have never been pregnant b4 so I dnt enjoy any advice 2 give u. I just required 2 send my condolence 2 u. Im sorry that u had 2 endure this open-handed of pain at a time that u should b happy.
