Is it possible to find false positive hpt ?
I have been ttc #1 with PCOS for 3 years.. i approved to take a hpt yesterday afternoon. I bought the digital one and it said pregnant... then I went to the store and bought the regular test... "first response" and took 2 and both had faint lines... then contained by the morning I took another one " first response" and the second line was a bit darker... afterwards I decided to go to the doctor and I tested there contained by lunch and they said it was negative. :( I was devestated.. how can I draw from 4 false positives? I went to take a blood test I will own the results in 3 to 4 days. I decided to go to a free clinic and get a free preg test there it came out positive too! It in recent times confused me even more!
I went home and took a clearview hpt digital test and that says positve... Has anyone ever gone throuhg this? I dont know what tho devise and Im so anxious for the blood test... I know I have to wait but I requirement to calm down and reading others experiences might calm me down... cause iM getting cramps... really fruitless cramps...
False positves are rare. There's 2 reasons why your doctor's test come out negative... 1) he/she's using a test that's less sensitive than home test or 2) your urine wasn't as concentrated.
I'm sure your beta will be a big fat positive.

It is impossible to seize a false positive. Preg tests test for HCG. Womens hcg levels merely rise when pregnant. therefore there is no way someone that is to say not pregnant can get a false pos. As far as you not getting a pos result from doc.. i would say your hcg levels might not be as glorious yet...the blood tests will give accurate results... GOOD LUCK! sounds similar to ur prego!

It could be that you didnt have ample HCG in your pee at the Drs.. maybe too diluted?
But the fact that adjectives the others were positive is great news! Hope you get a high-ranking beta!! :)

I feel you are pregnant. I am betting that when you went in to the doctor's office for a urine experiment, that your urine was diluted and the line was tricky to see.
Cramps are normal during early pregnancy.

Answers: It is very rare to have a false positive. Due to the certainty that you have taken 5 tests and 4 were positive, I would undamagingly assume that you are in fact pregnant. I highly doubt that adjectives 4 were wrong. When you went to the doctor and tested negative, you did not use your first morning urine and you may enjoy had a diluted sample due to breakfast and lunch beverage amounts. Also, some women with PCOS are in fact pregnant but do not test positive as early as some women without this condition, so it could be a culmination of things.
Now, within regards to your comments about bad cramps- if they are worse than term cramps, and you have PCOS I strongly suggest you go to your ob-gyn and get a check up. Bad cramps at this stage is not the best of situations. It could be nothing- it could be simply how your body is react to the early stages of pregnancy but it could also mean something else so you may want to check in this.
