Fertility, Fertility and More Fertility...Please Help!?
Who out there has used the fertility monitors and did they work? I am about to purchase a Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor, I am looking for some counsel, input and experiences. Has anyone gotten pregnant while using a fertility monitor and if so, which one did you use? Who has used the Clear blue monitor and how does it work for you?
Answers: My wife used it regularly when we decided we wanted to hold kids. It obviously worked out for us and we relied on the timing based on the results. We were conducting tests for some time before deciding and that was assured as the Clearblue test strips were available separately.
I used the clear blue easy fertility monitor. I have been using it for over a year, because my husband wanted to wait and I looked-for to make sure I was still ovulating. After a year of it predicting ovulation, when we were in place to conceive, the first month the monitor did not detect ovulation. Then, the next month the same thing happen. I decided to get some individual test sticks (also made by clear blue easy) and they come back positive. I tested positive in the morning and we conceived our son that night. It seriously lone took once. I liked the monitor, but I think I started using it too soon and it was broken by the time I really needed it. If we settle on to have a second child, I would buy another monitor. If cost is a concern, the individual tests are cheaper and they did the trick for me.
Edit: Through using the monitor I learned that I ovulate behind in my cycle. More like the 18th day instead of the average of the 14th time. Without this info we might have had trouble conceiving. Source(s): First time mom to an 8 month old boy
