Bfp - involve warning dr's confusing me?
hi there,
Nearly 2 weeks ago i got a bfp on a hpt, then that afternoon bled for 21/2 days .. have brown discharge for 6 days,. In the time of brown discharge i took 2 hpt's 2 days apart and still got a bfp! I got the pregnancy confirmed with doctor 4 days ago, he said the bleeding final week was prob a early twin loss and not to be too concerned so he sent me for my first hcg level test. 3 days ago he called me with the results and said they were at 335, and be sending me another blood test form to do in a week ad routine, to see the level rising.. so all was good.
after that same day i started getting a little red blood, not alot at all, but be concerning, then it went into brown .. i went to dr, and they took my hcg level again and said they had gone down to 225, and i was going to miscarry. the discharge continued brown until yesterday, which i woke up with a tiny amount of red blood, followed by brown to nought at all . today i have had nil, no red no brown. had absoultley no cramps at all. my boobs still hurt like crazy, and still hold other early preg symptoms... could they be wrong with the miscarriage? i did a preg test today and still showed postive, I KNOW that if i hold miscarried my levels with take a while to step down.. but i have heard of losing a twin and the levels step down, then increase with the single one? are the doctors right to diagnose a m/c with 1 set of bloods decreasing, i only havent passed or bled or had any cramps that i though would be associated with a m/c, could i still be preggers?
advice call for please. thanks
Answers: I am very sorry for what you are going through.
The only path for us to know for sure if you did in fact miscarry the second baby would be for you to hold on to going to the doctor to get your blood levels checked. They might also do an ultrasound.
I would assume your pregnancy tests would be positive for for a moment while, even if you miscarried both twins, since the HCG would still be in your system.
Good luck to you!
Wow - thats awful I'm sorry to hear that. IDK the answer but remember they are not always right!?!? As hard as it might be you might a short time ago have to wait it out and see if anything else happens, and if you did mc, remember it be for a reason - there was palpably something wrong - and better early then later! Then try again - most pg's don't terminate that way.
Again, I'm sorry - hang in nearby and good luck - I hope everything goes ok for you!! Source(s): Mom of 2 girls, 13 & 7, baby boy due anytime!
