About fertilization and sperm?

i was just wondering...ok so if you ovulate then the egg implant itself in the uterine lining could sperm still fertilize that egg or is it too late?

and could you procure pregnant if you ovulated on the 21 and had unprotected sex on the 28 and your period is due july 4?
Answers:    The egg only implant in the uterine lining if it becomes fertilized. If it does not become fertilized, it does not surround and the uterine lining sheds and that is what your period consist of - the facing of the uterus.
The sperm can only fertilize the egg during the eggs 6 - 24 hour max life span in the fallopian tubes. It travels thru the fallopian tubes down to the uterine bin liner where if fertilized attaches and pregnancy happens or your period will come surrounded by about 2 weeks
The egg will not implant if it is not fertilized. An egg lives 12-24 hours after leaving the ovary. If an egg is not fertilized it disintegrates, and is engrossed into the uterine lining.
