8dpo my cervix is hard-ish, glorious, and closed. Pregnant?

*Don't tell me to test, I hate getting the BFN from the stick. I'd fairly get the news from Aunt Flow.*

This is our second month trying to conceive. My cycles range from 24-29 days. I ovulate unsettled in my cycles. We use OPK's from Early-Pregnancy-Tests.com, and they tend to be extremely accurate for me.

My last period be June 5th.

I ovulated on CD 21, June 25th.

We BD'd on...
CD06 - 06.10.09
CD07 - 06.11.09
CD09 - 06.13.09
CD11 - 06.15.09
CD12 - 06.16.09
CD13 - 06.17.09
CD13 - 06.17.09
CD14 - 06.18.09
CD18 - 06.22.09
CD18 - 06.22.09
CD20 - 06.24.09
(We're trying to have a girl.)

During ovulation my cervix was soft, illustrious, open, and wet. After ovulation my cervix went spinal column down to it's hard, low, closed position. Today on 8DPO it is back up high, hard-ish, and REALLY TIGHTLY closed. It feel flat.

Could this mean I have achieved pregnancy, or is AF on her bearing?

*I've been having some symptoms since O. I have be nauseous, boobs are killing me, cramps, twinges, ect.*

Thanks girls. <3.
Sorry, no way yo hold actual pregnancy symptoms that early.

Your body doesnt know its pregnant until after implantation happens (between 6-12 dpo), it takes at smallest 2-3 dpo for hcg to gain enough in your blood to even cause the slightest of pregnancy symptoms. So 9-10 DPO is the earliest you can get hold of any symptoms, and even then it's very very unlikely.

There's no specific things that a cervix does that shows hasty pregnancy.

In terms of nauseous, hurting boobs, cramps ect, all of those are typically caused by the progesterone surge that follows ovulation. Women don't notice the symptoms it causes until after they're trying to conceive, and paying more attention to their bodies.

Nothing you can do but linger another 5-6 days to test.

Good luck!

Edit - Sorry, how did you know you ovulated on cd 21? is that the day you got the positive opk? if so, and you have wet mucus for a few days after I would guess you probably ovulated on the 23rd, (since opks show a positive 12-48 hours before ovulation).

If your luteal phase is 8-10 days it's time to go see a doctor right away to capture it fixed. You might have a luteal phase defect and need to fix surrounded by order to sustain a pregnancy. Often it can be fixed simply by taking vitamin B.

Unfortunately, it's too precipitate to tell. Since you have shorter cycles, you can always try a HPT! You should've have your period by now?!

Good luck! =)
Answers:    Well. Since you are only 8 dpo I'm going to agree near Alex (the first one)that you really would have no pregnancy symptoms. It takes 7-12 days for the egg to implant.
And if you used ovulation test there is no way that you know for sure when you ovulated and the EGCM and CP are just signs that you could ovulate soon.
Your spell isnt late. luteal phases are 10-16 days normal. And your only on morning 8 and thats if you know you ovulated the 21st day
Cervix position cant tell you much pregnancy wise.
It is said to supposed to be glorious soft and closed

Before AF Low hard and closed

If youre luteal phase is shorter then 10days you need to consult next to your doctor. This can keep you from getting pregnant.

But first maybe you should try to chart your temp so you can know for sure when you ovulate.

You can go to fertilityfriend.com and chart your temp. You entail a basal body thermometer and to take it everymonrning at the same time before you achieve out of bed or anything at all!
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/Bexy this is my chart from the month I got pregnant. You see ovulation and possible implantation and my temp stayed up. My usual luteal phase is 12 days. So i tested at day 12
the minute the you conceive your body starts producing pregnancy hormones. Some woman can tell they are pregnant earlier than others. but cervical position is great for recounting you your going to ovualate and if you are going to start your period but not in predicting pregnancy. Not everyones cervix will react that soon some may clutch months, and peoples might feel different.

I KNOW A GIRL THAT GOT PREGNANT ON HER PERIOD AND ANOTHER GOT PREGNANT 6 DAYS BEFORE HER PERIOD. YOU DONT HAVE TO HAVE A LONG LUTEAL PHASE TO CONCEIVE, THE SHORTER THE LUTEAL PHASE THE MORE CHANCE YOU HAVE THAT YOUR EGG WILL NOT IMPLANT AND FOR MISCARRAIGE. (SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS i WAS HALF DONE WHEN i REALIZED i HAD THEM ON)
