A sound out going on for conceiving and PCOS??

So I was diagnosed with PCOS at age 16. I am now 23, I usually achieve periods a few times a year. I just got my time of year last Saturday for the first time in almost 8 months! My boyfriend and I have be having unprotected sex, and I was wondering what are the chances of getting preg even though I'm on my time, and haven't had one in months!??

ps... please don't tell me to progress to the GYN I have had appointments about it, but I'm lately curious other peoples opinions! Thanks in advance!
I was diagnosed with pcos at the age of 18. I'm now 22. Only function why i was diagnosed with pcos was because i enjoy very irregular period, few times a year, high estrogen and elevated testosterone. Just recent have my period for the first time in 9 months. I have tried continously to obtain pregnant with no luck, i do not ovulate.

A couple months back my doctor put me on metformin 1,000 mg a day. A month next he prescribed me clomid which i have just taken my first round of, finished just yesterday.

I am hoping this will finally be it.

We will see.

gl and babe-in-arms dust to oyu!
have pcos means you need tot ake extra steps to concieve, usually that is.

If you want to concieve (i know you said not to but here it is) and you dont grasp your period regularly you need to see your gyno and see about meds...

immediately, without the gyno some stuff you could do would be bbt charting, opk, and generally having seriously of unprotected sex with the bf.

theres always a 20-25% of getting preg each month w/unprotected sex IF you ovulate but basically cause you have your period doesnt be going to you Ov. Especially if you have pcos, cause it messes with your horomones, so i would mull over your chances would be lower.

im sorry to let you down, but if your ttc you need to be proactive just about the sit...
Answers:    Try a gluten free diet. My pcos symptoms go away after less than a week on the diet. Since then I've spotted others online who had like peas in a pod experience. I conceived the first time we even tried. And prior to this, I hadn't had periods regularly (and mostly not at all) for many years.
