Has anyone used the dollar store pregnancy test?

I'm one of those people who can be a bit neurotic about these things (what woman isn't? I'd like to congregate her!) and I think spending $1 to find out is WAY better than spending upwards of $15. Anyways, I've only used them a few times, when I didn't want to become pregnant after my son, and only required to make sure - they were negative. Now my husband and I are trying, and I've taken a couple of them (again, thank God they are cheap and I can support doing that!) and gotten faint positives all 3 (yes, 3... haha) times. I'm sure I know what that means! :) I'm in recent times wondering if anyone of you have used them, and if it's normal to have a wobbly line, or if it's just a bit early and my HCG isn't super giant yet. I'd be curious to know if anyone has had a nice bright one beside those yet.

And as an aside, it's amazing how much criticism there is out there give or take a few those tests. You think about the strips they use at the doctor's department - it's not the strip that costs $15, it's the packaging, the name, and the fancy plastic. The strip inside does all duplicate thing! Yeeesh!
The dollar store tests look exactly like the tests my dr organization uses and I think they work just as well. I get a positive on one about a week before I was due to start so if you're getting a shaky positive I would say you're pregnant. All pregnancy test look for the same hormone so I would read aloud the dollar store one is accurate
I got a faint chain after leaving the test out for a day. but it didn't show up right away. my sisiter have 2 little girls she used the dollar store tests for both pregnancys it worked out for her. I too am trying for a baby and im using the dollar store tests they also presently have a ovulation calculation test as powerfully. Best of luck to you hope you are pregnant.
My Dr. office told me not to use the Dollar Store pregnancy assessment. They said that they are not very accurate. Good Luck.
Congratulations! I did get a dark line on mine but my spell was over a week late at the time.
Answers:    There is nothing wrong with the dollar tree experiment. All pregnancy test, test for the same point HCG. The dollar tree test just might take longer to come out positive specifically why you are most likely getting just a faint stripe by the way congrats on the pregnancy :) but to tell you the truth with my daughter i used clearblue and first response in the region of 5 times which and all where negative I consequently went to the dollar tree got their test took it matching day i took the last first response(that i got a BFN on) and get the positive on the cheap one. Hope this helps
they are just as good as the examination that are 15 bucks and up, I've used them b4 and I got positives so to the chick who said her doctor told her not to use them...that's a fat@s$ lie there honey they do work, and copious woman on here will tell you that's what they used and it was true they were indeed pregnant.
I tested near the dollar store ones and twice got positives Big and bright but sadly I miscarried twice...in adjectives 8 times.
so if its faint or light positive wait a week and retest.
