CLOMID: CD42!! What the heck is going on?? Opinions please?
I am almost positively sure I ovulated between CD16-19 (OPKS and pretty severe cramping that stopped after CD19). However, I am now on CD 42. 3 negative HPTs latter.i'm confused. Last HPT - on CD 39. I had PMS the week of expected period for three days-before clomid i be a 30-30 day cycle. PMS sym started again few days ago-backache, BLOATING, slight twinges/cramps. HAS ANYBODY HAD SUCH A LATE PERIOD AFTER OVULATING SO EARLY.? I'M ASSUMING I'M NOT PREGNANT SO DID CLOMID SCREW UP MY CYCLE.
Was your doctor monitoring follicle production before ovulation? I am wondering if nearby was not an issue when you ovulated because you said you were having severe strain... that could mean that you had mild hyper ovarian stimulation syndrome, which means you made too copious eggs... I have absolutely no idea what, if anything, from developing HOSS (if you did) would end in your period to be late. The latest your cycle should own started is about cd 33 or 34 if you ovulated some where between cd 16-19.
I would recommend going to the doctor ASAP. I think that you should carry a blood pregnancy test just to make sure you are not pregnant and next start provera to start your cycle and possibly have an u/s done on your ovaries to make sure there is nothing issues.
Just because you have a positive OPK, it doesn't mean that you ovulated without a doubt. You could have have the surge, but something prevented the little egg from escaping. Has your doc been monitoring you for ovulation? I'd say get within there and have a blood pregnancy test, and if it's glum, they should start you on provera to induce your period so you can move onto the next round of Clomid.
Yup, Clomid have done that to me... I've always had 30-32 day cycles and while taking clomid, I've have up to 50 day cycles, not nice! I also had all the symptoms to surmise I did conceive but all negative test.

Clomid will make your cycle longer and sometimes mimic symptoms of pregnancy. They best thing you can play the waiting game which I know sucks but, this is what comes beside TTC. I will tell you Clomid does work I am now pregnant with twin boy/girl after 5 cycles of Clomid. Good Luck! Baby Dust!
Answers: I don't really know whats going on!! But i would have thought your doctor would have taken your bloods on daylight 21 to check you ovulated?
But anyway, i would go to the doc's and ask them for a pregnancy blood test, you just never know!!

since you are taking clomid i think you should bargain to your doctor as soon as possible. you could be pregnant. so the best thing is to see your GP.
