A Question About Menstrual Cycle?

Is it possible to tell if you have ovulated when you have your extent?
if u have a period u ovulated.
Isn't your period the breaking up of unused egg?
Answers:    It is possible to have a period and not ovulated. It's called annovulation. (I believe that's the first name of it) the only way to tell this is to see your doctor and hold him/her run some tests OR to use OPKs (ovulation predictor kits) everyday.
You can also chart BBT (body basal temps) and use http://www.fertilityfriend.com to keep track but I am not 100% sure if you ONLY get a dip when you are ovulating or if it's possible to bring back false temps without dropping an egg. (I believe it's only if you are ovulating) but I don't want to give you the wrong information around this.
