You ovulate 14-15 days before your period. So I don't know how you would know when your ovulating unless you buy an ovulation apparatus.

Hi
You could get a fertility thermometer, log temps for a month and the chart will indicate when you enjoy ovulated.
I have had long and short cycles recently so I found the fertility thermometer to be particularly useful
Answers: It's possible you do and its possible you don't. I know that doesn't sound like a good answer but I am one and the same way you are.
Do away with the idea that you ovulate 14-15 days. For someone specifically not regular that rule does not apply.
I am guessing that you have a hormonal imbalance called PCOS. (Poly-cystic ovarian syndrome) If this is the grip then no you do not always ovulate even though you bleed.
Not sure where you live or what insurance you hold but there is a blood test that they can do on the 21st day of your cycle that will inform the doctors if you are ovulating or not. If the test is not available or too expensive then maybe you should check out www.fertilityfriend.com and start taking your warmth every morning and when you see a definate shift in temperature then it resources you have ovulated. After a few months you will know your system and when you are most likely to ovulate if you do every month. It will also point you to other signs to look for. Source(s): experience
