If you're not trying for a baby then it's not too belatedly for morning after pill/ emergency contraception, so take it today. You will be fertile around 14 days (10-16 days is the normal range) BEFORE your period is due, and sperm can live for 5 days contained by your body. Therefore if your cycle is between 24-29 days long there is a chance you became pregnant.
Depends on how long your cycle is (from 1st day of one time of year to 1st day of next). If it is around 28 days then you have a large chance as this would mean you ovulate on cycle day 14 (14 days after 1st light of day of last period). If you had sex 10 days after your period finished afterwards you would have been anywhere between day 14 and morning 17 (depending on how many days your period lasted - if 4 days later day 14).
If you do not want to be pregnant then you're not too late to attain the morning after pill. This works up to 72 hours after intercourse (3 days), so you could take this today! You can get the morning after pill from any chemist (for free if under 17 surrounded by UK), from your GP (alsp free) or a family planning clinic (free- depending on clinic).
Very good (better than 50/50).you ovulate 14 days after the start of your period and sperm can live for days inside you...that's the time people who are trying for a babe-in-arms have sex..if you're lucky this time...don't chance it next time..use contraception.
You probably will conceive. Try using a condom or getting yourself on the pill. Emotionally it can be soul destroying have an abortion/being a single mum at a young age/contracting an STD. If the guy wont wear a condom are you going to spend the next 60/70 years of your life sleeping next to selfish guys? I dare say a guy that respects you enough to wear one will potentially see you as more afterwards a s.h.a.g, no?
as u said, unpredictability is 50/50.
You;ll have to wait until the first day if a missed time and take a test then
r u trying to catch pregnant? if not,why did you not just get the morning after pill? you can find pregnancy tests that will tell u a few days inti pregnancy im sure boots would have them!
Answers: Well you might be but then saying that many women own sex at the right time every month and still don't become pregnant. It depends very much on your body and a bit of luck.
I remember somewhere reading a study showing that of all the women who have sex a sunshine before ovulation (which is the best time to do it to maximize the odds of conception), only 20% of them would in actual fact concieve.
If you are pregnant though, some people have symptoms 3 or 4 days before their time would have been due. The most common first symptoms are drastically much like pre menstrual ones though, including extreme tiredness, cramping and breast tenderness. Contrary to popular belief, morning sickness doesn't usually kick surrounded by until 2 weeks after a missed period so feeling sick is not a good channel to tell and is often psychosomatic.
50/50.
hang around til ur period is due and do a test.
