Does anyone know the side effects of ICSI Treatment?
As anyone had ICSI Treatment? I'm due to start at the end of the month, and was wondering what the side effects of the injections are? are they enormously severe and did they stop you doing day to day things?
Any other advice would be drastically appreciated as I'm a little]nervous.
Thanks
Answers: So in other words, you are doing IVF with ICSI to fertilize the eggs right?
We did IVF in Nov/Dec 2007 next to ICSI (due to male factor InF). The only "weird" thing that I notice was the weight that I had lost adjectives over in the previous year (about 10-15 lbs) all came hindmost around my mid-section while I was doing the injections.
A little later when you get to the projesterone shots (if you are doing the shot), I distinctly recommend that you get an ice pack and put an ice pack on the nouns where you are going to do the shot for about 15-20 minutes to get the nouns good and numb. Also, it helps to prop against a counter and take the cargo off of that hip to really relax the muscle for doing the shot.
Mentally, the whole process can be really nerve-wracking b/c you are spending all this money, you are getting adjectives these different injections, and you are hoping that it will all work out and you will finally get pregnant. Believe me, I've been in that and definitely know how all of this feels.
