What virtues do you look for contained by a toddler sitter?

For ages 2 mo. 6 and 5?
for a 2 mo. year old ...i wouldn't trust masses people

but i say someone who has have experience with all those ages and can prove they have..
Loves kids.
Sense of humor.

Has some experience with kids around that age. I work at a daycare center with kids from 3 and up sometimes 2 but I never worked with a 2 month outmoded so I would seriously look into the experience of a baby sitter if they had any experience with a babe. I know I wouldnt even take the job unless it was a family connections friend because I dont want to take care of another persons infant if I had no experience with babies.
Trustworthy, responsible, and honest.
Sweet of course.
trustworthy, responsible, fun, kind. and should be atleast 16 or 17 for a 2 mo hoary. someone who actually likes kids and isnt just contained by it for the money. they have to be able to do fun things with the kids and delight in it, and be fun to be around [:
let her/him be a mothers supporter for a day or two to see how they work with the kids , and if it goes well brought-up .. you know what to do (:
Punctuality, reliability, responsibility, and a love for babies and children. Long-suffering, no short temper! Fun and fun-loving! Source(s): 6 kids, 12 grandkids
It depends on how old you are. I look for responsibility and the clothes you wear. Also your personality. If you act stiff and afraid/hostile towards the kids, than I wouldnt hire you.
1.not person a massive child molester
2.not a heroin addict
3.not someone younger than the kids themselves
4.someone who's cheap but not suspiciously so

you get the picture
She must be over the age of 18-25. If she is a college student pref one majoring or with an interest within a child based field. She must be up to date with adjectives her certifications, I want to know she knows what to do in case my child is chocking or have stopped breathing. Must have reference letters from at least possible 1 other parent she babysat for. Personality: she must be sweet and trustworthy. As a parent I have to see a connection between the caregiver and my daughter.
number 1- must see the baby sitter as being wonderful, kind hearted mother approaching material. if she does not come off as being this style in the 1st few moments.next!…
Good with kids, experience (especially with young infants), parenthood, CPR/first aid, and the ability to take my kids to the ER if needed a definite plus.
honest
responsible
kid like them
doesn't let kid just sit in front of tv entire light of day
- possibly plans activities
leaves house in same condition or cleaner than before they get there
Answers:    I babysat a 3-month-old and a 7-year-old for a woman I later became friends with, and when she started going to university during the day (a time I was unavailable), she ripped through tons of applicants for various reason.

If you're responding to an ad on the Internet looking for a babysitter (on Craigslist, for example), make every effort to use proper spelling and language rules so you don't look like an idiot.

You need to show a genuine interest within the kids, be genuinely invested in their well-being, and engage them. While you're sitting, the kids are not a distraction; they are the idea you're there. You should make every effort to grip to the kids' normal schedules.

Also, being predisposed to sit in THEIR house if they prefer it is a huge plus. First aid training goes without truism.
i would look for someone who know what they are doing especially with the little one) and for a good and Positive attitude
Big ****
D or I'd even move about with a C cup, depending on the face. No older than 15.
