I have a 4 y/o and 16 month feeble. If you look up the word social butterfly, you might just find a picture of my oldest (lol).
Answers: We have a local baby boutique that hosts play groups a few times a week. It's free and a great course for her to interact with other kids and for me to meet other moms.
We also met friends at a local church, and now we hold play dates at each others homes usually once or twice a week.
Parks and soft-structure play areas at the mall are also a convenient path to get your child out and meeting other kids.
