My two year weak daughter and ears.?

My daughter is two and ever since she could actually grab and play with unshakable things, it's my ears. She pinches them constantly and is always always playing with them, especially when she get tired we'll lay down and it's all about rubbing my ears. I don't know why she does it or where she get it from, but it seems like it relaxes her she'll almost need to play near my ears to fall asleep. Any idea why?
W0W THATS S0 CRAZY..BECAUSE MY LiTTLE CUZiN HAD T0 PUT HiS HAND UNDER HiS M0MS ARMPiT T0 FALL ASLEEP && SMELL THE DE0D0RANT...0THERWiSE HE W0ULDN'T i ALWAYS ASKED WHY HE HAD T0 D0 THAT BUT N0B0DY KNEW!
iTS PROBABLY A LiTTLE KiD THiNG
I'm not sure why, it's probably something that she did as an infant and it just become a soothing habit for her.

My daughter does the exact same thing, only it's playing beside hair, and if I refuse to let her when it hurts she'll cry and not jump to sleep unless I let her play with it again.
Answers:    its a comfort thing... my nephew who is in a minute 6 has been doing it since i can remember. to this day if hes tired youll know bc hes rubbing his ears. my 11 month feeble daughter also does it. i guess its better then a binky or thumb. (nothing against those things, my 2 yr old still uses a binky, tryin to break her.)
