18 month mature have disorientation?

It absolutely sounds like teething to me. Perhaps you could try Nurofen (sorry, not sure what it would be called in Thailand). It help bring down the fever, but also helps ease cramp associated with inflamation.

Also, you can use Bonjela - teething gel. My son has just popped a few molars, and it be not a nice experience for him but the Nurofen, Bonjela and lots of cuddles seemed to help.

A tepid (luke warm) tub will also help bring his fever down, and this helps distract them from the discomfort.

Best of luck to you and your little boy. :)
Go out and buy Tylenol baby and Motrin babe. Give it to him every 6-8 hours switching off and on both Tylenol and Motrin. Don't give him strictly motrin or strictly Tylenol b/c it could hurt him. Motrin has a numbing agent within it to help with the teething. Here in Ohio we own teething swabs made by Ora-gel. My daughter LOVED them..they tasted like berries. Try that too. You can also get a cold clean up cloth and put it on the back of his neck. Cold baths will break the fever. Teething rings help a lot too but don't get ones that are thin plastic b/c if he have anymore teeth he may bite through it. If you trust him...give him an ice cube. Good Luck. low grade fever is common beside teething but at that age it could be an ear infection. do you have an otoscope to see if it is inflamed in his ear.
