What is a appropriate approach to draw from a child to sleep within their own room?
My daughter is 2 and we just got our own house with my fiance. She have her own room now and loves to play in it but when it comes to bed time she tries to sleep with us. It be working okay then he had to start working at 5 am so he needs to sleep faster. I just need some hints or tips that might help me win my daughter to sleep in her own room.
Answers: This can be a tough transition. Have her play in her room during the day. That road its not just a scary area she sleeps within. Tuck her in bed, read her a book and tell her its nite nite time. I think that its okay to consent to her cry it out. Do this on a weekend when you arent going to be going to work early this next day. Its going to be a rough few nites for both of you.
Check on her every few minutes. Do not hold her and cuddle her. Do not be paid eye contact with her. Just go in in that and put her back in her bed if she gets up. Don't tender up 1/2 way through the night and let her come to your bed.
Best of luck to you. Source(s): Mother of a two year matured boy, who tells me "I'm tired" and goes to his room, shuts the door, and falls asleep between 7:30 and 8pm nightly.
Decorate her room go shopping sooner or later and make it extremley pretty and than she'll go in the room and sleep surrounded by it.
or when you decorating it the way she likes it go and get a big bed while at it and than sleep in with her in her room and you husband can sleep by himself. she'll eventually grow out of it
