How can I spawn my daughter sleep contained by her bed?
She turned two in February and she doesn’t sleep in her own bed. Whenever I wake up surrounded by the morning she’s lying in my bed sleeping, she must crawl in there surrounded by the middle of the night. When 8:00 o’clock comes we go through the bedtime routine after dinner.
Ember takes a tub, I put her pajamas on, brush her teeth, I fill up her cup with water (because we lately brushed her teeth) I turn the hall light on, and we read a story together, say are prayers and I administer her a kiss and she is in bed by 9.
She puts up some fuss because she wants to sleep with within daddies bed, but she’s always in my bed in the morning. I’ve asked her why and she usually lately doesn’t answer unintentionally or gives me a hug. I know she’s young but I want to wean her from the dependence now. I mean I don’t get batty at her because I guess since she doesn’t have a mother I let her get away beside more. Her mother my ex fiancé abandoned she and I at 5 months, so I don’t want her to be mad at me since I am her only parent.
The merely reason I want to break the habit is because she needs to cram this before it becomes an issue and also I find it kind of strange for a daughter to sleep within her dad’s bed. I don’t date or bring woman over I haven’t since her mother, so I don’t have to worry about her coming into my bed when a woman is in that.
Try to take a pet for her..may be can..

okay so i used to have the same problem with my little sister, who is also five. what we did be we went and got a television & would lay down next to her until she went to sleep& then when she was asleep we would walk in our bed. also leave a dim light on. permit her watch television in bed for just about thirty or less min. then turn it off and hang around till she goes to sleep. she will soon be sleeping by herself. we also made a chart of the days of the week & if she would sleep by herself we would let her go pic out a small toy for that week.
hope i helpp! :) Source(s): myselff.. done both.
I have the same problem going on. Our 3 year old will throw a fit b/c she desires to sleep w/ us in our bed. All we do is lay her down in her bed, and sit by the door. She usually whimpers and sniffles for more or less 5 min then she's out. We haven't woken up with her in our bed, but she have come to our bedside before and we've put her back into her bed, following the same routine. It seem to be working!
Answers: you might need to try and pay more attention at night to see when she is coming surrounded by and all you really can do is keep putting her back within her own bed, and talk to her about it being daddy's bed and she wishes to stay in her own bed and if she needs something in the hours of darkness she should wake you up! good luck
