A child must hold their own bedroom?
In Florida, is there a law stating that a child living in a household must own their own bedroom, and not share bedroom with parent(s) or guardian?
depends on the age. its fine until the child reaches a certain age and then it is mandatory they enjoy their own rooms depending on the sex. its fine for 2 girls or 2 boys but a girl and boy can share at that age.
No a child can share your room.
But i know surrounded by NJ
If you are a two parent family then a child is only allowed to be 1 bedroom complex apartment until the age of 3. After that a child must own there own room because they are considered "a person"
Only 2people can rent a 1bedroom
4 a two bedroom.
I don't know how strict it is though i think its down to the landlord or complex and i deliberate it varies from town to town
check the law again & discuss it with your attorney. it's not really a big deal.
i have no idea of what florida law states. however unless you cant afford a place big satisfactory it would be nice for them to have their own room even if its just to have a place to put adjectives their stuff.
No.
It is perfectly legal for a single mom to rent a studio (0 bedroom) apartment to share beside her child. No one needs a bedroom.
There are limitations on how many people can live contained by a rental, but not how the sleeping configuration must be.
Nope.
That would be dumb if there was, because lots of people live within apartments & those who live in/rent houses can't afford to build another room.
Answers: By Federal HUD standards ... a child UNDER 5 years of age can share a bedroom with an adult and/or a child of a different sex. After that, they enjoy to have a bedroom with a same-sex child, or their own bedroom. For example, I was a single mom next to an 10 yo daughter, a 9 yo son and a 6 yo son. I had to, by Federal HUD standards, rent a least a 2 bedroom apartment -- 1 bedroom for my daughter, 1 bedroom for my sons, and I got to sleep contained by the living room. That was like 8 years ago, so the rules might have changed but I doubt it. Source(s): Life
