Cutting fruit for kids?

should you cut up blueberries and raspberries for toddlers? i never have for my son (he's 2) but i'm preparing a fruit salad for a BBQ
my son is 2 and i dont cut grapes for him. Only apples, peaches etc. little bite size fruits i leave how they are
I would not worry about blueberries or raspberries. They are pretty darn small and the parents should be supervising thier children while they chomp through anyway. Halving grapes would be plenty.once again, parents should be supervising thier toddlers while they are eating.
Answers:    My daughter is also 2 and I don't cut up blueberries for her but I do slice grapes in half, quarter them seems a bit excessive given she is 2.
Nah, you don't need to formulate them any smaller if he's kept them down before. I cut everything up in fruit salads, but that's just me and it doesn't hold anything to do with my daughter.

I quarter grapes.
grapes have always be a problem with children. Depnding on the age, you should definately half them and if the children are very childish, quarter them. Rasberries are very soft fruit, if they arent quite ripe then partly them and the same with blueberries.
Enjoy your BBQ x
