Is Moon Sand any perfect?
it is honest but it gets everywhere and but it is better than play-dough because u can vaccume it from ur carpet.where as playdough get stuck
moon sand was suppose to stick together, it might sometimes but other times it freshly falls apart. You are suppose to play with it in doors but it made me so mad. It fell bad onto everything then got into her hair and on shoes and adjectives over the floor. I refuse to use it indoors and just about quit using it adjectives together.
I don't like it! It makes a terrible mess. It is sand that stays moist, and it is fun for something to play beside outdoors, but not indoors. Everything that spills gets wasted and the supply slowly swindles. I was constantly vacuuming this stuff up when I get it for my kids. I like playdoh better. At least with playdoh you can hang on to what you make. You can't do that with moon sand because it falls apart.
I've hear nothing but bad things about it. Try appetizing play dough...
1 cup nonfat dry powdered milk
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup honey
It makes for a decent textural manipulative for children, but I honestly couldn't even begin to guess what's within it, which always alarms me when I gives things to children.
Making you're own play dough is simple (mix up 1 C white flour, 1/2 C salt, 2 tbsp. vegetable grease, 1/2 c. water) and honestly, throw some sand in it for texture, and you have a natural, cheap alternative to Moon Sand.
Have fun!!
No it gets on your clothes, on your carpet, EVERYWHERE!
play dough sticks together better.
My daughter played with it a few times and now it sits like most of these things do. She used her sand table next to plain old sand it more.
