But what if the one of the kids gets sick? god forbid that doesn't happen. and she cant you what happen. she is charge of those kids. no matter what. I use to take care of 2 kids one be 5 and the other was 7 and the girl paid me 100 bux only to thieve them to school and pick them up. a week. and gave me extra 50 to 70 sometimes even another 100 bux just for watching them when she go out from like 8 to 12 am. sometimes they spent the night at my house but they were gone by the time i woke up. she be my neighbor and had a key to my house.
Depends on the sitter's experience, pay history, and your children's age. $12/hr. is excellent take-home pay for a new sitter. A more experienced sitter (or a sitter dealing with younger children) will probably expect at least $15/hr.
You should ask for their take-home pay history to get an idea of what pay scope that particular sitter is expecting.
i never got rewarded based on an hourly wage. i was paid $10 per hours of daylight per child. if 5 kids it's $50. good luck. she is in charge of the kids. if they wake up, she'll be the one apt to them...
Your qualifications surrounded by the question make no difference in what you payment. If you don't trust the person with your children and your possessions. If you do trust them, the rest is non sequiter.

I get paid for doing it too lol but yeah i guess i mean shes responsible for the kids and shes taking the time to do that so yeah i have an idea that she deserves to be paid full amount :D
I would pay her the same hourly rate that she is getting the rest of the hours when they are awake. I got like hourly rate when the kids were sleep as when they were awake when I used to babysit as a teenager. She still have the same responsibilities and when they are sleeping she should still be checking on them every so often. She deserves the same amount (that is if she isn't partying, bringing tons of friends over, drinking alcohol or doing anything of an rude nature.)
