Daughter have be have crying fits?

She is 1 1/2 and for the past couple of days for no reason she will just start crying and it's a outstandingly hard cry not just a whine or anything. It will sometimes last 20 minutes previously I can calm her down. She also got up at 11 last dark crying really hard and nothing I did could make her stop, I have to lay with her on the couch until she fell a asleep before I could lay her down. Has this happened to anyone else?
Answers:    Could she hold an ear infection? They can be very painful and cause profusely of distress / sudden crying. Signs to look for : is she eating less than usual, more tired than usual, slight temperature that comes and go, touching her ears or jaw a lot, runny nose / cough...
Otherwise it could be teething discomfort, does she have her pre-molars yet?
If none of the above, could it be a separation anxiety thing? That tend to peak at around 18 months ? Are you with her when she does it in the daytime or within a different room ?
Hope this helps Source(s): Mum
Sounds to me like she's in some type of misery. My17 month old is teething right now with two bottom cuspids and is doing alike thing. Could she be teething? If she keeps it up over the weekend I'd take her to the dr. Try giving her some aching meds before she goes down for the night. If she starts crying longer I'd hold her to urgent care. Better safe than sorry!
