How long can a 21 month old's diarrhea final?
She woke up at 5 in the morning throwing up and having diarrhea. In the last 7 hours she's chock-a-block 7 diapers and thrown up 4 times. Her doctor's is closed today. What do I do? Just keep waiting?
She wasn't even sick yesterday at all. I don't know if it's from something she ate? All she had be:
french toast & scrambled eggs
peanut butter crackers
vegetarian sausage links
mac n cheese
She's had all of that stuff earlier.
Answers: sounds like a normal tummy bug,. if it lasts up to 48 hours cart her to docs (or if i were you i would take her if shes still bad contained by the morning when the docs should be open) if she has blood in her vomit or diaper take her to emergency docs or the hospital if your docs isnt friendly. otherwise just try and keep her hydrated with pedialyte (spelling?) or river if you havent any and if she shows signs of dehydration get her seen even if u have to be in motion to ER as it can be bad in little kids, also just save an eye on her temp, she'll be fine :)

just skulk till you take her to see the doctor. as a baby I had diarrhea for in the region of a year, and then it suddenly stopped. so you never know.
