12 month aged vaccination ask?
my son is 14 months. he got his 12 month vaccinations done about for a moment over a month ago and since then he has had this red spot, a moment or two bigger than a quarter, on his thigh (where he got two vaccines) and it wont go away. it only shows up contained by the bath tube. it looks like someone hit him or something was pressing on his leg for a long time. i asked the doctor and since she couldnt see it she didnt reflect anything of it. it doesnt seem to bother him, but it bothers me! i just think it's strange. i dont know which shots he get there, but you can still see the poke marks and in the tub the red spot shows back up every single time. i took pics and im gonna take them to the doc for her to see. any advice?
Answers: It appears surrounded by the tub because the water softens the skin making the wound tender and warm causing it to become irritated. Yes, I did vote wound !
I would take your son in person, to see your pediatrician and agree to her asses him in person because the area could be infected.
Good luck.
I would nick the pic a.s.a.p. it sounds like maybe it's infected but then if it be infected then it would show up at all times. May be it's nothing but I would be concern as economically
