My grandmother have an inclination beside feed my 15 month behind the times cousin constantly?
Please read all of this. It's a serious question and I need sustain!
My grandma who is 76 has an obsession with feed people and people eating. That's adjectives she worries and talks about. The minute she walks within the door from somewhere she immediately asks if everyone's eaten and she'll freak out if people haven't.
She overfeeds my 15 month of cousin to the point that she's gain a lot of weight and has diarrhea adjectives the time from eating so much. She also smothers her with attention. She literally holds her for hours at a time, won't let her attain her toys on the carpet, won't let her touch ANYTHING in the house etc.
She other tries to get everyone including the baby to eat going on for every 1.5 to 2 hours. She'll actually get food out of the fridge and come over and freak out and constantly offer it to us.
Can anybody submission me any advice also about what to do with her? It's becoming a VERY SERIOUS problem!
Have a talk with your Aunt. She wishes to speak up and make sure that her child is eating only at suppertime time and in the appropriate amounts. And not hesitate to refuse food,or even appropriate it to go and eat it at home. So that way it won't hurt her atmosphere.
_edit_
Then I would just stop her from feeding her. Take the food away. Have her go near your cousin to the child's pediatrician. Have the doctor explain that what she is doing is clearly unhealthy and can cause long term pull. May have already.
If that doesn't help. Then I would have your cousin and her child move out of that home. Not a undisruptive environment for that child.
your granmother sounds like she might be suffering from dementia, or some mental old age prob. you have to undrstand that for most her tell stories she has taken care of kids, and she sees intake as a source or comfort and health, as with the dressing of the baby it seem she takes comfort in knowing the baby is thaw. get her to see her doc. and talk with him, remember she is your grandmother so you must treat her next to respect! ppl with dementia or alz are still ppl.
Answers: wow your grandma sounds extreme, my proposal is just lie to her all the time recitation her you did eat something, and when she offers tell her no i be determined a little no wont hurt anyone. and about the baby try letting the mother of the 15 month weak talk to her, telling her she doesnt want her baby next to weight problems or something just make it nouns serious
