My toddler is doing great w/ going #1 on the potty. However, she #2s contained by her pant. How do I get hold of #1&#2 contained by potty?

She's on the right track Doc. Unfortunately at hand is no magic formula here to help you. #1 is usually how it starts for many ..it'll adjectives start cliking in her mind soon enough...lotsa patience, lotsa positive reinforcement and reminders..adjectives good. It'll happen!
I would pick up a book on potty training because there might be some issues you're eventually face or don't realize you're facing. I like Elizabeth Pantley's "No Cry Potty Solutions". Some children are attached to their poo poo because it's more stuff than urine. The urine is not a big deal. Plus the poop training *usually* comes later than the pee pee part.

On another transcribe, (very seriously) a friend of mine potty trained her son to poop in the potty chair at 18 months by making noises and face (I know it sounds weird, but she swears it worked). It took maybe a month, but he'll go #2 short a problem on the potty, but he's still not doing #1 on the chair (which is the reverse of what usually happens). I would give the faces and noise a try while she sits on the potty chair.
Answers:    My method is messy, but effective. Fortunately for you, it's summer time.

(also, I'm gonna sound like one of those natural, all natural fliptart moms, but bare beside me)

Spend as much time outdoors with her as possible, minus the diaper. This way, she can recognize when she requirements to go, and get a feel for what it's resembling. She'll get to see the poop go "bye bye", but she can do all this lacking the pressure of trying to make it to the toilet in time. I strongly believe that the pressure to "make it to the potty" get between their ability to learn what to do when nature call. You can practice with a training potty outside if you want.

With my oldest, we made it a family affair. Everyone got M&Ms when they go poop in the potty. We spent a lot of time applauding our own excrement, but it made the lad eager to be a piece of.

And don't forget the all-important shopping trip for big girl panties! Good luck...I wanna see pics of your babbies.
How many times do I hold to tell you-Girls Don't Poop!

Anyways, you got down the first step. #2 is always harder. It take practice. The reward system worked well when I was potty training my oldest. He got two m&m's every time he go #2 on the potty.

Edit-We did what TTC #2 did as well. We completely switched to regular underwear so he could know when he had an accident.
Mine is pooping on the potty but not peeing lol So I got the opposite. So she doesn't approaching to be wet. Hmmmm have you tried regular big boy/girl underwear? That helps my son because surrounded by a a regular diaper or pull-up he will just pee and poop and want changed after. But in undies mine won't poop in them freshly pee. So maybe undies will help your child not want to poop on say their favorite part and it gets them excited. Good luck, I hope this helps!! :-)
A lot of kids have fears more or less pooping on the potty, its very normal.

I would keep trying beside her :)
