My two year antiquated does this item where on earth he requests something than doesn't than does?
So I don't know if this is some kind of phase or if he is just really confused. Here is an example of what happens (and this in fact happened this morning): I knew he would want another piece of bread so I offered it to him and he took it. Then he was similar to ewww yucky and didn't want it anymore so I took it and walked away. Well he then started crying for me to give it rear to him. He does this from time to time with his cup or any other type of food too. I'm pretty sure it only has to do beside food, but I might have not noticed it. It was merely after this morning that I was really like "wow he does this a lot" and I can only remember him doing it beside food. So does this sound like a normal two year antiquated thing?
OMG this sounds like my morning I have a 2 y.o girl and she does the same point, she will say she wants eggs for breakfast so I make them for her later she doesnt want them so I go to take them away and she freakes out. I'm glad to know this isnt just arranged to me I guess it is just something they go through but I kind of hope it ends soon.
Sounds resembling he is pushing the boundaries, see what he can get away with.
One option is to afford him the bread and then let him shout.
Another is to take let somebody know him if you take it away he wont get it back. and tight-fisted it.
This will be a new thing for him and he will play up until he realises he wont win, so long as you stay strong he will sort himself out and decide not to read out its yucky :)
Good luck
OMG. My 17 month elderly does this ALL the time...frustrating.
my 19 mos. have been doing this also i really hope that it is just a phase good luck
Answers: MY SON DOES THAT ALL THE TIME! He does it a few times a day... Example TV time. He will be watching tv and get upset and want it bad so I will go to turn it off then he starts screaming and crying wanting the tv put money on on, so then I will turn it on, then again he will scream and cry for it to be turned wager on off. An other example about cups and what he wants to drink. He will asking for apple liquid so I get his cup ready and then carry the apple juice out and soon as I am about to pour it, he freaks out and says I want milk... afterwards I get the milk out. he starts crying saying he wants apple liquid. I am getting to the point where I will just give him what he first asked for.
