Sometimes deserted and mouth chewing motion?

my 1 yo daughter. will be playing and then just go uninhabited and stare's but looks asthough she has something in her mouth. (chewing) lasts 30 sec or so consequently she will just carry on playing.
something to worry roughly speaking or nothing

I would defintly try and get this on video to show the doctor. It does sound to me close to some sort of seizure activity. Source(s): husband has impressive mal seizures.

Answers:    Hmm. Not sure, but certainly something worth checking out.

Try to video her doing this. Then take her to the doctor who may refer you to a neurologist. I am not a doctor, but enjoy been around enough people to know this sounds approaching petit-mal, or absence caused by an unusual electrical activity within the brain.

I hope this is not the case, but if it is, it can be treated and she may grow out of it. Good luck.
