Anyone ever experienced this w/ their child?

Good god, he's a 2 year old and you are freaked out about thumbsucking? If this is the worst thing you enjoy to worry about, count your lucky stars. How would you like it if someone took away your soothing things?

He WILL grow out of it. He may thieve longer than you want but it's his thumb. It will not harm him - not even teeth at this point yet. The less you stress just about it, the sooner it will come. Motivate him by keeping him occupied with his hands instead of trying to force it.

**EDIT** Did not contemplate this was negative - I was trying to facilitate you see that there are bigger things to worry about and thumbsucking is so highly minor. Don't sweat the small stuff.
